Ela is responsible for leading the Biopharma business development teams for oncology, rare/orphan, clinical research, 340B, proposal & program solutioning, contracting and sales effectiveness team. Ela’s organization is intently focused on collaborating with specialty pharmacy constituents, McKesson Life Sciences leaders and biopharma companies to uphold Biologics’ industry leading multi-disciplinary & clinically forward patient care programs. Ela, and her team, ensure that Biologics continues to be an innovative, patient centered pharmacy and the commercialization partner of choice for biopharma companies.
Previously, Ela built, and led Biologics’ Strategic Partnerships team focused on creating collaborative relationships between Biologics and community physician practices and hospitals. Additionally, Ela led the integration of RxCrossroads by McKesson Program Pharmacy, new program implementations and strategic planning for McKesson Life Sciences’ non-commercial pharmacy assets.
Prior to joining Biologics, Ela worked as a Sr. Director for Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy, where she developed and led the execution of unique specialty pharmacy care models for retail, biopharma, Long Term Care and hospital organizations.
With over fifteen years in the specialty pharmacy market, Ela is vastly experienced in building and growing innovative specialty pharmacy delivery models, contract negotiations & trade relations, complex and large-scale program implementations, account management, technology solutions, central fill, training, quality improvement and front to end operational specialty pharmacy optimization.
Ela holds a Bachelor of Science from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and an MBA in Health Care Management from University of Texas in Tyler, Texas.
