Bringing life-changing therapies to the oncology community
For biopharma partners launching new cancer therapies, expanding indications or exploring a limited channel strategy, Biologics by McKesson serves as a trusted oncology specialty pharmacy partner, connecting patients, providers, payers — and possibilities.
Partner with experienced leaders in oncology specialty pharmacy
As the first oncology‑focused specialty pharmacy partner in the United States, Biologics by McKesson has supported cancer patients, care teams and biopharma partners since 1994. Today, our oncology pharmacy services reach patients supported by more than 16,000 prescribers across health systems, retail sites and community‑based providers.
Deep experience across diagnoses, patient ages and therapies
Our oncology commercialization partnerships date back to the era of early oncolytics and have evolved alongside advances in cancer care. In the decades since, we’ve developed a sophisticated clinical and operational infrastructure, fine-tuned access capabilities, including pharmacy and medical billing expertise, and established a proven record of supporting complex oncology launches across patient populations of varying sizes. Our experience spans solid tumors and hematologic malignancies across the oncology landscape. We support patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, and across all routes of administration from oral therapies to self-injectables and infusions.

Blending long-term vision with real-time implementation
As biopharma manufacturers shift from drug discovery and regulatory functions to commercial planning, the Biologics team provides a valuable line of sight beyond the launch — along with proven operational rigor to support business and clinical goals. Our multidisciplinary team supports more than 130 oncology therapies, including those in limited distribution pharmacy networks. We are also biopharma’s partner of choice for more than 25 exclusive therapies. The Biologics clinical care team maintains a carefully orchestrated presence throughout each patient’s journey to help ensure treatment adherence and support positive outcomes.
We work collaboratively to support our biopharma partners by:
Collecting and reporting targeted data to support access and adherence
Leveraging deep oncology relationships to navigate market dynamics
Delivering patient hubs and data services to support oncology journeys
Providing field sales teams to strengthen provider engagement
Identifying the right channel strategy for each partner
Proactively exploring copay and foundational assistance for cancer patients
Customizing process flows and business rules based on partner needs
Providing a dedicated implementation team, from planning to execution
Our Rx workflow benefits patients and providers
The Biologics team offers tailored clinical support that flexes with the business needs of biopharma partners and the clinical needs of specific patient populations. Support ranges from foundational services to more personalized approaches, helping align clinical strategy with therapy complexity and patient needs.
Facility redundancy to navigate uncertainties
When natural disasters or other emergencies occur, Biologics has a comprehensive backup plan to support continuity of care for oncology patients. We maintain two fully accredited pharmacy sites in operationally strategic locations — Cary, North Carolina, and Fort Worth, Texas. Both facilities were intentionally built to:
- Offer convenient access to major shipping hubs
- Leverage state-of-the-art systems with the capacity to serve patient populations of varying sizes
- Accommodate increased capacities as our operations grow
Provide redundant support for McKesson’s InspiroGene center of excellence for cell and gene therapy
- Maintain full licensure in all 50 states, plus U.S. territories
The Biologics team also tracks weather patterns and current events at the national, regional and local levels to craft comprehensive contingency strategies focused on ensuring that therapy delivery remains uninterrupted.
