“Biologics truly understands the oncology market and how to navigate patients throughout their cancer journey. Their teams collaborate with manufacturers toward successful resolutions to complex challenges. I always gain insights from their teams, and I value the partnership.”
Becki C., Associate Director, Specialty Pharmacy at a biopharma partner organization
Just as every patient is different, every cancer therapy is different. That’s why we build individual program and patient management plans for each of our clients. We do that by customizing and adjusting the program based on what we learn over time. Our personalized care plans and multidisciplinary Care Teams, which include PharmDs, RNs, OCNs, BCPs and CPhTs, help patients navigate the moments that matter and barriers to treatment, so nothing stands in the way of the best possible health outcome.
Driving deep provider engagement
We understand the challenges our patients’ provider teams go through. So, we’ve made it our mission to ensure that working with a specialty pharmacy is easy and enhances a patient’s care and their access to therapy. This understanding drives our relationships with providers across the country. We ensure that our pharmacy workflow goes beyond prescription dispensing, and we collaborate with providers to deliver exceptional personalized care to all of our patients.
“We know that the pandemic has put a lot of challenges on all of us personally and professionally, but the Biologics Commercial Team continues to put patients first, and, as you know, that is critical to all of us here at Eisai…. We appreciate the dedication and hard work from the team.”
Michelle H., Director, Specialty Pharmacy, Eisai Co.
A team with heart
At Biologics by McKesson, we hire the best people in the industry who are dedicated and passionate about supporting people who are going through the hardest time of their lives. For many of us, it’s personal. We’ve seen family members experience their own cancer treatment journeys. We never look at patients and simply see a prescription or a case number. We see friends, family, loved ones, neighbors. It’s why everything we do is for the benefit of our patients.
“I love working at Biologics and making a difference in patients’ lives. I get so much joy out of engaging with them. Whether educating a patient, providing emotional support or celebrating great news after a CT scan, I am completely present with them, and that makes our patients feel valued and heard. A positive engagement on the phone matters.”
Anna Durden RN, BSN, Clinical Case Educator
“Helping patients navigate a complex health care system to receive expensive, life-saving therapies makes it easy to come to work every day. I truly believe that what we do here makes a difference in the lives of people who are going through the unimaginable.”
Charles Shaw, PharmD, Clinical Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist in Charge
“As a pharmacist, I have the pleasure and the responsibility of introducing patients to their new medication. I review clinical information and collaborate with each patient, helping to reduce stress and confusion about their treatment. My goal is to help our patients be confident and adherent, which gives them the best chance for a positive outcome. I want each of them to know that we are partners in their cancer journey.”
Angela Williams, Clinical Pharmacist
