Mark Alwardt is the Vice President, Specialty Pharmacy Solutions. In this role, he oversees McKesson’s Medically Integrated Dispensing (MID) program, which includes more than 200 oncology pharmacies and dispensaries nationwide. Mark is also responsible for driving the growth of the specialty pharmacy Biologics by McKesson through provider and payer business development. He is the founder and leader of McKesson Total Care Solutions, LLC, a specialty pharmacy and clinical services outsourcing company committed to addressing today’s customer needs while continuously innovating to meet the demands of the future.
Before his tenure at McKesson, Mark dedicated 16 years to Humana, where he spearheaded numerous key organizations and initiatives aimed at advancing the Healthcare Quadruple Aim and expanding Humana’s pharmacy business. Mark is a U.S. Navy veteran and holds a bachelor’s degree from Excelsior College and maintains certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
