Brandon Tom: Hi, I’m Brandon Tom, vice president and general manager of Biologics by McKesson. We’d like to share with you a little about what makes our specialty pharmacy different and why we’re the partner of choice for biopharma companies of all sizes.

Ela Lourido: Our work is truly meaningful to us. We see ourselves as students of the industry, driving oncology and rare disease support for the benefit of patients. We lead the market in pioneering new capabilities and solutions. That’s because innovation is at the core of who we are.

Ashleigh Burdette: Another huge part of what makes us different is the personalized clinical care we give to patients during a really difficult time in their lives. We know that every patient is unique and needs a different level of care. By giving them that personalized care, we help them stay adherent and give them the best chance of a positive outcome.

Teri Swepston: We also make it really easy for providers to send patients our way. When they prescribe a specialty drug to a patient, they often choose us to dispense, because they know we’ll get their patient on therapy fast, help them stay adherent and keep the lines of communication open.

Paula Bickley: Of course, it’s crucial that patients can access your drug in the first place. That’s why we contract with more than 500 payers and can also connect patients with financial assistance to help with affordability. We do our best to take the stress out of it for our patients.

Pavlos Pavlidis: On the back end, our operational excellence is second to none. We simply move faster than other specialty pharmacy—without sacrificing quality. We know that hours and even minutes make a difference to our patients.  And our team does much more than dispense prescriptions. Our pharmacists and our nurses combine a deep knowledge of oncology and rare needs with a compassionate, individualized approach to care.

Ela Lourido: We don’t take it lightly that we have the privilege of supporting patients with cancer or rare diseases. What we do is not a job. It’s a mission. We are humbled and honored to help make life better for the patients we serve.

Larry: I spoke to a nurse, an educator nurse, at Biologics who explained to me what to expect, what to avoid, and it was terrific.

Cherie: Just always very proactive in their questions and what my needs might be.

Erica: I could feel the empathy through the phone.

Karen: Biologics made my experience as an ovarian cancer patient, now survivor, much easier, much less stressful, much less fearful.
