CARY, N.C., Dec. 19, 2022—Biologics by McKesson, an independent specialty pharmacy specializing in oncology and rare disease areas, has been selected by Rigel Pharmaceuticals as one of two specialty pharmacies in a limited distribution network for REZLIDHIATM (olutasidenib), which is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with a susceptible IDH1 mutation as detected by an FDA-approved test.
REZLIDHIA, approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on December 1, 2022, is an orally administered drug. It showed durable remission in treatment-naïve and relapsed or refractory AML patients. REZLIDHIA was well tolerated and associated with improvements in clinical efficacy endpoints in patients with mIDH1 AML.
