Cary, N.C., Aug. 26, 2026 – Biologics by McKesson, an independent specialty pharmacy specializing in oncology, cell and gene, and rare disease therapies, has been selected by Revolution Medicines as a specialty pharmacy provider for RASONQUE™ (daraxonrasib) within its distribution network. RASONQUE™ is an oral therapy approved for the treatment of adult patients with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma who have received at least one prior systemic therapy or who are not candidates for multiagent systemic therapy.
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is the most common type of pancreatic cancer. It starts in the small tubes (ducts) of the pancreas that carry digestive juices into the intestines. It is often diagnosed at a later stage because symptoms may not appear early. By then, the cancer may have already spread, making treatment more difficult and limiting available options.
For many patients, treatment has historically included chemotherapy, which may be associated with considerable side effects and limited long-term effectiveness. As a result, there has been a significant need for additional treatment approaches, including targeted therapies.
Most cases of PDAC are driven by changes in a gene called KRAS, which can cause cancer cells to grow and divide uncontrollably. Because of this, therapies that target the RAS pathway — including newer medicines like RASONQUE™ — are an important area of research and development.
As these therapies continue to emerge, they may represent an important step forward for patients and providers navigating a disease where options have often been limited.
